
In 2022, Jérôme received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Université de Liège in Belgium, where he had worked with Prof. Charlotte Cornil on canary singing behaviour and reproductive physiology.
As a PhD candidate in Neuroscience at UBC, Jérôme studies the relationship between steroids, fatty acids, and aggressive behaviours in song sparrows. He has received multiple awards, including a NSERC doctoral award, a British Columbia Graduate Scholarship, and two fellowships in ornithology.
